Hi! My name is Asia Purnell, and I am a current senior at the University of Oklahoma studying sports psychology, while also balancing basketball practices, traveling, and school! My passion is people, and I believe that photography allows me to tell the stories of people I come in contact with, so let's connect!
From the DFW area, Asia had access to high-level sports and opportunities. She started playing basketball around four years old, and dabbled in other sports, but basketball was her one true love. She started photography in the summer of 2024 at the Dallas Wings and hasn't looked back since. Some of her other jobs/internships include:
WSLAM, OU Student Athletics Photographer, OU Women's Basketball Walk on, OU Women's Basketball Team Photographer, and two seasons in the WNBA.
